People really let Nintendo get away with bring ratty scum like EA and Activision just cuz they have good PR. They’re a company that is over a century old that is willing to destroy video game history to protect their IP and increase profits, they’re not anyones friends. I can’t even say shit like they’re a “cheaper alternative” to Sony or Microsoft or something cuz they’re not. These mfs literally expect ppl to pay $60 for glorified minigames and emulated re-releases, then they won’t even make all of their games accessible. Don’t even get me started on how they’re like 90 years behind in terms of things like GUI, the switch e-shop feels like i came right out of the 2000s ngl.

Then there’s denying joycon drift, destroying fan projects that aren’t free advertising for Nintendo, their allergy to putting anyone with slightly dark skin their games, arbitrarily not releasing games in the west for years for absolutely no fucking reason. Prob some other shit too, I can’t stand this company lol.

Also i kno the Pokemon Company is a different thing but they’re the same brand of corporate garbage with good PR even tho they do nothing but drop the ball and make money for themselves.
